Campaign for Permanence

To build upon the success our program has experienced since its founding, San Miguel Program purchased the former St. Francis School at 245 Renwick Street. SMP previously leased this space from the local parish for the last seven years. Our new permanence allows us to be a long term anchor in the community.

To date, generous benefactors and organizations have collectively pledged or donated over 70% of the $552,500 cost of the building.

The Campaign for Permanence will raise funds to reconfigure and update our permanent home. These plans include: 1. the development of a STEAM Learning Center featuring robotics, 3D Printing, a virtual reality learning area and fabrication stations; 2. our gymnasium will be reconstructed to create an Athletic Center that will be host to an 4-man indoor rowing tank, fitness center and half basketball court; 3. the creation of a new Graduate Support Center, that will offer meeting spaces, computer workstations and counseling rooms; 4. security enhancements to the entryway; 5. a remodeled conference room and faculty room.
