Each spring, San Miguel Academy 8th graders visit The Museum of Jewish Heritage – A Living Memorial to the Holocaust.
San Miguel Academy partners with the Rabbi Erwin Zimet Foundation to support its Holocaust studies program, which culminates in an annual trip to the museum in New York City.
Throughout the year, themes from the Holocaust–courage, resilience, the value of human life, and tolerance, especially as it relates to exploring other cultures–are woven into the humanities curriculum for all students at San Miguel Academy.
