Caitlin Lynch named Vice President of Development

San Miguel Program is thrilled to welcome Caitlin Lynch as the Vice President of Development. Ms. Lynch comes to us from the Marvelwood School in Kent, CT, where she was Assistant Head of School for Institutional Advancement and Director of Marketing and Communications.  It was through her association with Marvelwood that she first got to know Father Mark Connell and San Miguel Academy. Marvelwood welcomed its first San Miguel student, Chris Lane ‘13, in 2013, followed by Avante Walker ‘15, Axel Juarez ‘18, and Alexis Martinez ‘20.

Ms. Lynch is a graduate of Denison University and earned a Masters of Science in School Counseling from Western Connecticut State University. A long-term key member of Marvelwood’s senior administrative team, she is a skilled professional, a creative and outgoing person, and one who understands the importance of educational opportunities.

Ms. Lynch has a deep appreciation for the work of San Miguel Program and its 12-year commitment to each student. Central to the Program’s mission, this long-term engagement is integral to breaking the cycle of poverty.  Annual fundraising is critical to the Program’s ability to serve its students and families.  Ms. Lynch will be involved in all aspects of fundraising, including the development of sustainable and strategic approaches to ensure the longevity of San Miguel Program. She looks forward to getting to know San Miguel’s incredible community of supporters and working together to grow the mission of the program for years to come.
