Contributions:

San Miguel Academy is funded completely by donations from individuals, corporations, trusts and foundations. We are also grateful to many individuals who provide in-kind services to the school, including teacher and administrative salaries provided by the Dominican Sisters of Hope, as well as accounting and legal services to name a few. San Miguel Academy is also able to accept gifts of stock and annuities from other investment vehicles. Stocks are immediately sold and converted to cash. San Miguel Academy does not hold stocks in its portfolio. Anyone wishing to include San Miguel Academy in their estate planning should contact the school at 845-561-2822.

Sponsorship Levels:

In addition to regular donations, there are levels of sponsorship that accommodate a gift in the form of a pledge over a number of years. Some of the more common sponsorship pledges include:

Volunteering:

The gift of time is highly valued at San Miguel Academy. Whether you are interested in tutoring, helping in an after school activity, teaching a special skill, reading to a student or just sharing some insights during lunch, you are welcome to join our many volunteers who consistently give their time and energy to the school and its students.

Another option is to join a subcommittee that assists the Board of Trustees in its oversight capacity. Subcommittee membership enables individuals to get more actively involved in the school in a particular area of interest or expertise. Each subcommittee is chaired by a Board member and focuses on the latest research, best practices, etc. of each specialty group. These include:
